The Intellectual Property Rights Office held an Intellectual Property Management Orientation on April 26, 2019 at the Audio Visual Room. The event which is attended by over a hundred students from the College of Agriculture and Forestry and the School of Marine Fisheries and Technology, talked about the basics of patenting, copyright and other salient issues regarding intellectual property protection. Assistant Professor Delyn M. Bucay, the officer-in-charge of the university’s Intellectual Property Rights Office, headlined the event and reiterated what Albert Einstein remarked, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination,” as a lasting impression to the participants to enhance the reality and possibilities of intellectual property.
